DESCRIPTION:
WW - Omega Monopusher Chronograph for the Royal Canadian Air Force, manual wind, 36mm x 42mm to lug tips, 18mm wire lug width, stainless steel screw back case with RCAF markings, replacement round pump pusher, brown leather strap, original white dial with black painted numerals, two inset subregisters for minute recording and subsidiary seconds, 17J cal 2221, s#977708. The case back is not signed Omega and as such cannot be verified as the original; however, it well could be.
CONDITION:
Mvt: Running, monopusher chronograph functions and resets properly, excellent-plus cosmetic mvt condition overall, hardly any oxide to steelwork, very light fine scratches to plates; excellent-plus dial with light surface spotting, luminous material has been relumed at some point in its life with a lacquer being placed over to stabilize the material; excellent blued steel syringe hands; lightly polished case shows very light wear, retains a mark on case back from being worn on a one piece strap for many years, no dents or dings; crown shows very little wear; good plastic crystal.
